Privacy Policy
Short version: we collect nothing unless you write to us
The short version
Unless you write to us, this site collects nothing about you. No analytics, no tracking, no cookies, no ad networks, no social media buttons. The only third-party tool is Cloudflare Turnstile, and it runs only on the Contact page to keep spam out of the form (more below).
What your browser remembers
A few settings are saved in your own browser (localStorage) so the site behaves the way you left it: light or dark theme, your accessibility choices (text size, contrast, spacing and so on), whether you read the Catechism’s prayers in English or Latin, which Catechism questions you’ve marked as read, and where you are in the interactive rosary today. Your place in the rosary resets the next day.
None of this is ever sent to a server. We can’t see it. Clear your browser data and it’s gone.
The theme switches to light at sunrise and dark at sunset where you are. That uses only your device’s time zone, on your device: no location permission, nothing sent anywhere. If you flip the switch yourself, your choice holds until the next sunrise or sunset.
Hosting and server logs
The site runs on Cloudflare, which keeps copies of the pages close to you so they load fast. Like any web server, Cloudflare may keep standard access logs for security and performance. Those logs belong to Cloudflare, not to us, and we have no access to them. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy for details.
Fonts
All fonts are served from this site. No requests go to Google Fonts or any other outside service.
The contact form
When you use the form on the Contact page, your name (if you give one), your email address and your message come to us by email through Cloudflare (Workers and Email Routing). Your address is set as the reply-to, so we can answer you. Nothing is stored on the site or in a database, only in our inbox. We use it to reply to you and for nothing else: no sharing, no mailing lists, no marketing.
Cloudflare Turnstile checks that you’re not a bot. It runs only on the Contact page and doesn’t track you for advertising; see Cloudflare’s Turnstile privacy statement.
Changes
We may update this page from time to time. Questions? Use the form on the Contact page.
